Five ways to get involved
Pick the one that fits where you are. None of them require you to leave your job, your church, or your neighborhood.
Host a DMM interest meeting in your area
Do you have a group of people interested in DMM? We would love to connect with you. We can tailor the discussion to the level of exposure and understanding that your group has to DMM.
Habits of a Replicating Disciple
Are you interested in getting started on your journey with DMM? The first step is participating in the Habits of a Replicating Disciple.
In this training we explore the main motivation behind making disciples and the six habits that every disciple maker has in their own life.
Two days together in person or 7 weeks online.
Practice each habit before you finish the training.
Leave with a commitment and a coach.
Looking for dates? See the training calendar.
Someone in your corner for the long haul
Movements are slow at the start and fast later. A coach helps you stay in it through the slow part.
Tell us your context
A short conversation about where you live, who you are already with, and what you have tried.
Meet your coach
We match you with a practitioner near you, or online if there is no one close yet.
Meet monthly
One honest hour a month: what happened, what you are learning, what comes next.
How to launch a Discovery Bible Study
A Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is a group of friends reading a passage together and deciding what to do about it. You do not need to be the expert in the room.
Pray for names
Write down five people you already see most weeks.
Ask, do not invite
Ask if they would read a story with you and a couple of friends.
Use the same questions every week
What are you thankful for? What is hard? What will we do? Who will we tell?
Hand it off early
Let someone else facilitate by week three. That is how it travels.
