Before any curriculum was written or any training scheduled, there was a full year where the only activity in this region was walking the same streets and praying, mostly in silence.
It's a hard thing to justify on a report. A year of no measurable activity looks, from the outside, like a year of nothing happening.
But the people who eventually became the first hosts in the region point back to that year as the reason they trusted the invitation when it came. They had watched someone show up consistently with no ask attached.
We still tell new regional leads to expect a season like this. It rarely shows up in a spreadsheet, and it is very often the reason anything that comes after actually holds.
